West Coast Family Session / The Bisson Family / Sunshine Coast BC Family Photographer

Family sessions, like all sessions, are something that I don't take lightly. I encourage my clients to dress in their "nicest" clothes, to style their hair and to join me in a gorgeous west coast location that fits their families lifestyle. 

Now, this is especially easy when the session at hand is of your sister, brother in law and nephew. These three killed their family session with me; their wardrobe was casual - dressy and the location really suited their love of hiking. They followed my direction to create some timeless images that their son can look back on for years to come. 

For those of you that don't know, my sister and I had our first children within weeks of one another. We travelled together in the journey of pregnancy into motherhood -- although, the road was heartbreakingly difficult with the sudden loss of our father halfway through our pregnancies. All of the grief and sadness that we endured was softened by the little lives that would join us months later. Watching my sister become a mother, all while becoming a mother myself and enduring the roller coaster of emotions in those first few sleepless months, was nothing short of magical. Growing up we always dreamed we would live the life we have now, but we had no clue we would be so closely tied in this experience together.

The love this family shares between them is heartwarming, emotion, and inspiring to say the least. I just love these three so much!
