In Home Engagement Session // Loft Garden Oasis // Vancouver, BC // Sunshine Coast BC Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer // Laura Olson Photography

In May I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Zaida and Zach for the first time for their “in home” engagement session at the gorgeous Loft Garden Oasis in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Zaida and I had chatted on the phone after she inquired about their May wedding. She was in Australia at the time and I remember talking with her about her vision for her wedding at the Pipeshop Venue in North Vancouver. We hit it off right away and she asked me if I would like to be the one to photograph her and Zach’s gorgeous May wedding! I was so pumped to be invited to be a part of this huge chapter in their lives. We chatted back and forth until she got home and I asked them if they would be interested in shooting at the gorgeous Loft Garden Oasis for their engagement session for something a little bit different than your typical Vancouver engagement session. This space is full of lush plants and gorgeous, unique decor. It’s the perfect space for any in home styled or studio session. Zach and Zaida were blown away by the space and were so stoked to have their photos taken in this amazing and unique space. I had such an incredible time getting to know Z & Z while photographing their couples session. I felt like I really go to know a lot about them and what their relationship was like. Their connection is unlike any other I have seen; they have known each other since kindergarten! Now, all these months later, after their in home session, I am working away blogging my sessions from this season and I am so excited to share this blog with you! They’re wedding will be shared soon as well!
